Hey guys... Details for Raffles Rock Concert are out... And hope you guys can make it a class outing or something. Haha. Never mind. Just come support me if you can. If you can't don't worry bout it. Haha.

Raffles Rock Concert - DreaMix
Prices - $10 for students, $12 for adults
Venue - RJC Hall
Seating: Nope. Its a standing concert! Just like most rock concerts.
Time: 4:30 for the pre-event show, 7 for the main show
Highlights: Peformance by Electrico, Zhen, Spanish Fly and O.I.C, well known local bands

Get as many people as possible! Cos I got 30 tickets to sell. Haha.

Well... Was kinda happy yesterday. Must be cos of class bonding. I'd expected myself to fall asleep during the Uni Talk or get really angsty in front of my dad, but that didn't happen. I still remember the star! Thats sooo cool. For some reason it lifted my spirits. Although we had that bomb Econs thing. Sigh.

Class Outing!

Hahaha... Hey guys. Hope you're having an awesome weekend...

Let me start by saying...

I totally support going ice skating! Cos its near to my house. Two stops away to be exact. And Jurong Entertainment Centre is kinda like my turf. Used to hang out there years ago with my pri school friends and sometimes with my family. Well, if anyone wants to go to my house after that I can volunteer my house. Uh... Wait. Gotta ask my parents first.

Anyways, I'm gonna have a tough time the coming week. Reaching home super later everyday. Monday and Wednesday thanks to Guitar practise. And Tuesday and Friday thanks to Rock practise. But Thursday was my own fault. I decided to pon the local university talk on friday so I'll have to go on Thursday now. And Wednesday I'm going for the Daniel Sassoon from Electrico talk as well. Argh. Jam packed schedule.

Hahaha. Wells, I think our class is quite enthu about gymming! Went to the gym on friday with Kashwin, Alan, Chris and Leonard. And I think I'll probably continue going for gym with these guys every friday! Anyone want to join? You're absolutely welcome. Do more exercise. Its good for you. Haha. And now my arms are quite sore still haha.

Anyway on topic: anyone wanna go ice skating @ jurong ice palace? I know it seems kinda far but its fun to skate in groups. Or maybe watching a horror movie together? i'm not too enthu about pool coz i dunno how to play. Perhaps someone can teach me?

YAY 5th post =) there i beat leonard! muahaha.. reminder! theres the scholarship talk that nearly all of us indicated that we would go for. its tml at 4.30-6.00 at LT1. since so many of us signed up anyway we shud just go for lunch together XP except i cant go because i have a dental appointment tml. bleh.

AND we should have a class outing! sorry i didnt get together sth during the march hols >< pple were really quite busy leh. hmm. but we have like 3 extended weekends this term so yay can make use of the chance. anyone has any suggestions? im intent on pool XP but its not really conducive for large groups so haah. sorry benlow XP

Two concerts coming up...

First. Raffles Junior College Guitar Ensemble!
RJGE will be holding a concert with the theme of Ex-Animo (which means From the Heart) on the 19th of April, in conjunction with RJC's 25th birthday. Although its not on the date of RJC's exact birthday, but its somewhere around there. There'll be peformances of various genres of music, and all with guitars! Duh. Its on a Wednesday, and I haven't confirmed ticket prices yet. But those interested in going can order through me. Just send me an SMS, an email or tag the board on my blog. Second. Raffles Rock!

Sorry for not posting here for some time.

Hi people.

Sorry i havent been updating here at all. I've been really busy with hockey and my own joint blog which ive done up pretty nice, with pics n all. Anyway Hi Charissa! This is Ihtimam here. People call me Mam, some call me mamzxzxzx where some=jheeva. I'm too lazy to do a self intro so if you wanna get to know me better, drop by at http://judeslads.blogspot.com . Anyway thanks YY for your letting us know about whatever chem assgn thingy Mr. Wong got for us. I'dv'e never checked it if not for your post. Wait was that a fallacy? Whatever.

Im sure there'll be a mad rush to do work on sunday or later if allowed. That's how it is for me. And I don think ill ever do any work till I finish the 900 page Beatles biography i borrowed. Im at page 300+ btw. read my blog for details if you really are interested. Havent touched any written homework. Please would somebody make a complete checklist of the homework. Im terribly sorry but i am terribly lazy and forgetful. And do tag on my blog if you visit. Even Mr. Wong is welcome! I've written some pro-chem rubbish so I'm safe. But got a bit of bad language la. a bit only. wear earmuffs when you read bad words so they wont enter your ears and corrupt you.

I wont promise to be a regular here but i promise ill try to keep my other blog going and i'll write entries with you guys in mind ok. Hope you enjoy that treasure-trove of rubbish that is my blog.

Good that so many people have started blogging! Hols are not very good i guess. Holidays should be for students to unwind mah. In the end become just a study break. At least when ri had iLearning we still could either piah our work in the first few days of holidays and slack, or slack then piah. Now rj dun haf, too bad i guess.

I submit to peer pressure. >< So i will also do a self intro. Prefer to write in sentences. Points remind me of econs. Point form is cool, i do it for assignments all the time, but self intro, put your literary skills to work!

I was from pasir ris primary (you should all know where it is rite?), and ri 1b 2b 3i 4i. My sec 3 and 4 class roxors, partially cuz we have jheeva and kaswin which made class quite fun, and 3h should be the same too! Took trip science history and japanese in sec school. Did better for humanities than sciences overall, so i dunno what i am doing in BCME. Perhaps hist econs maths KI looks better. But i like bio more so i'm here! CCAs in secondary school are choir and rafflesian times aka the school newspaper. Choir trains strong lungs, so u can run 2.4 faster, so stop laughing at choir ppl okay? My ccas now are squash recas and rafflesian outlook (the newsletter u get once in a while about school stuff, which you are supposed to let your parents see.) Ok anyway i listen to mostly chinese, japanese and choral music. Not much of rock or metal. And i like chocolate and coffee. And i'm born on 26th nov.

Haha i'm done i guess. Do make use of whatever time you have left in the holidays to do your hw, and perhaps go out and have some fun!

LOL. eh vek so meannnnnn. no lor we like did stuff okay. not like tuesday night piah bio or sth XP. anyway. the hol hw is such a wet blanket to the holidays. hows everyone spending theirs? i bet all the school camps and cca trainings and going out! yay. haha and yes 07s03h rocks.

and maybe i shud just talk abt myself in PROSE. die all you point-form-ers. right so im mie, mie miura, my dad is japanese, mum chinese so im half half. i was born here, bred here, so pretty much the average singaporean. yes i can speak japanese, no i dun wear kimonos around, and no i dun wear mini skirts for school uniform. there. that shud take care of the stereotypes already. i like most mainstream music, some indie here and there (deathcab!) ah... shruggs. i have a younger brother he is a pest but i love him anyway (awww). im currently in shooting, was from vball and robotics (ususally this brings on the laffs.) was from the weirdest class 415 last year. erm okay im bored with myself already.

Random stuff

Wah. Sudden flood of posting! Had to read like 4 posts back to back? Haha...

Yes! Go for a pool outing. Please please please please please please please. Ok I will stop that. As soon as we go for a pool outing. Haha. K will try and organise something as soon as I'm done gaining back the sleep I lost from guitar camp I had on friday. Or maybe later.

I'm officially in the 157 gang! Yay. Thanks Mam for letting me in although I'm not that regular when it comes to taking 157. I've got two alternate routes home, one via train to Bukit Gombak, and 157, then transfer to 945. And both take around the same time. So anybody who wants someone to follow them home can come find me. I end late on mondays, tuesdays, wednesdays. So want someone to accompany you? Just dial 96603985 and your friendly neighbourhood BenLow will come to make your trip home brighter! Hahaha.

Went to watch I Not Stupid 2, my first movie for the year. One thing we should all learn from it... Don't forget to praise a person whenever he/she does something good. And always look on the good side of everyone, not the bad side. I admit, I've had a few negative thoughts about some people in class, and I apologize for that. But I have to say, all of you are awesome people. Thats why we're t3h bombs! Yeah. Give yourself a pat on the back, cos you guys rock.

I shall contribute to this class blog, and not be a lazy bummer.
Just to let all of you know, I think this class is probably the best that I have had ever since my Primary School days. It's a compliment for all of you - take it or leave it =)

My thoughts/opinions of 07SO3H:
1) Generally an intelligent and academically capable bunch of people - would be intimidating for those people who are out there seeking competition and fighting to be at the top.
2) Friendly and amiable people - no problems getting along with one another
3) (The best part of all) NO CLIQUES - I hope it stays that way for good.
4) Fun-loving - the people know how to enjoy themselves and "let their hair down", not just mug all day long. (I'm sorry if you are a guy and you are reading this... you probably don't have much "hair to let down". But I'm simply speaking metaphorically)
5) All in all, a whacky and interesting mix of different individuals that make us a very special class.

Lot's of homework to catch up with before the holidays actually end. 1 week will simply slip by without you noticing it, so enjoy as much as you can. Oh, Mr Wong has set us an Atomic Structure assignment to complete... in case anyone reading this doesn't know about it. Download it from his Blog.

WOO holidays. perfect for happyhappy reunions! i see my holiday schedule slowly being eaten up by random gatherings (even pri 1 clique dinner HAHA) right. hmm alot of pple seem busy with all the random camps going on trainings and stuff. homework list is to behold -.- makes me miserable just to look at it... so i wont XP. holidays are too short. and no nice movies too. darn. sorry i didnt do anything to organise a class gathering >< abit pressed for time. but next hols! promise haha, we should go play pool, benlow would agree!
