Another Story To Share
As former campaign manager for President George Bush and chairman of the Republican National Committee, Lee Atwater had accomplished the two things he had wanted to do by the time he was 40. Then he was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour. Shortly before he died, he wrote: "I acquired more than most. But you can acquire all you want, and still feel empty. What power wouldn't I trade for a little more time with my family? What price wouldn't I pay for an evening with friends? It took a deadly illness to put me eye to eye with that truth, but it is a truth the country can learn on my dime.
"I lie here in my bedroom, my face swollen from steroids, my body useless. The doctors still won't answer that nagging question: how long do I have? Some nights I can't go to sleep, so fearful am I that I will never wake up again.
"I've come a long way since the day I told George Bush that his 'kinder, gentler' theme was a nice thought, but it wouldn't win us any votes. I used to say that the President might be kinder and gentler, but I wasn't going to be. How wrong I was. There is nothing more important in life than human beings, nothing sweeter than the human touch."
I know this sounds preachy, and people of our generation don't like to hear preaches. But it's just something I read in here that reminded me of what Alan said.

V faces and druggies
OMG, A revolution has begun. Yesterday a masked freak with a smiley face for the back of his head and holding an ipod (even know to be a BEatles Freak) enterd the class of 07S03H.
Later, to try to foget the dazy events of the day buds of 07S03H turned to heroin. Yes, watch the powder as it is exxpertly processed and used to acheive maximum satisfaction.

A Random Story
King Arthur and the Witch (Just for laughs)
Young King Arthur was ambushed and imprisoned by the monarch of a neighbouring kingdom. The monarch could have killed him but was moved by Arthur's youth and ideals. So, the monarch offered him his freedom, aslong as he could answer a very difficult question. Arthur would have a year to figure out the answer and, if after a year, he still had no answer, he would be put to death.
The question?....What do women really want? Such a question would perplex even the most knowledgeable man, and to young Arthur, it seemed an impossible query. But, since it was better than death, he acceptedthe monarch's proposition to have an answer by year's end.
He returned to his kingdom and began to poll everyone: the princess, the priests, the wise men and even the court jester. He spoke with everyone, but no one could give him a satisfactory answer.
Many people advised him to consult the old witch, for only she would have the answer.
But the price would be high; as the witch was famous throughout the kingdom for the exorbitant prices she charged.
The last day of the year arrived and Arthur had no choice but to talk to the witch. She agreed to answer the question, but he would have to agree to her price first.
The old witch wanted to marry Sir Lancelot, the most noble of the Knights of the Round Table and Arthur's closest friend!Young Arthur was horrified. She was hunchbacked and hideous, had only one tooth, smelled like sewage, made obscene noises, etc. He had never encountered such a repugnant creature in all his life.
He refused to force his friend to marry her and endure such a terrible burden; but Lancelot, learning of the proposal, spoke with Arthur.
He said nothing was too big of a sacrifice compared to Arthur's life and the preservation of the Round Table.
Hence, a wedding was proclaimed and the witch answered Arthur's question thus:
What a woman really wants, she answered....is to be in charge of her own life.
Everyone in the kingdom instantly knew that the witch had uttered a great truth and that Arthur's life would be spared.
And so it was, the neighbouring monarch granted Arthur his freedom and Lancelot and the witch had a wonderful wedding.
The honeymoon hour approached and Lancelot, steeling himself for a horrific experience, entered the bedroom. But, what a sight awaited him. The most beautiful woman he had ever seen lay before him on the bed. The astounded Lancelot asked what had happened.
The beauty replied that since he had been so kind to her when she appeared as a witch, she would henceforth, be her horrible deformed self only half the time and the beautiful maiden the other half.
Which would he prefer? Beautiful during the day....or night?
Lancelot pondered the predicament. During the day, a beautiful woman to show off to his friends, but at night, in the privacy of his castle, an old witch? Or, would he prefer having a hideous witch during the day,but by night, a beautiful woman for him to enjoy wondrous intimate moments?
What would YOU do?
What Lancelot chose is below. BUT....make YOUR choice before you scroll down below. OKAY?
Noble Lancelot said that he would allow HER to make the choice herself.
Upon hearing this, she announced that she would be beautiful all the time because he had respected her enough to let her be in charge of her own life.
Now....what is the moral to this story? Scroll down
The moral is.....If you don't let a woman have her own way....Things are going to get ugly

Poetry from an inexperienced poet
I wrote this poem during math tutorial today, in between waiting for the answers to appear on the board. I'm semi-inspired by Beren and Luthien from the Silmarillion (If you read Tolkien, you'll know who Beren and Luthien are.) And I would like to dedicate this poem to a pair of "lovebirds" in our class (hmmm.... wonder who?) Just kidding. *grinz cheekily*
Oh, I'll let you know where to find the man among the coffee beans in a week's time, to give everyone a chance to try finding him. Bugged by pangs of guilt for dividing my attention between work and poetry in school today.
But here it goes:
SERENADE FOR LOVERS Breath of wind that softly flees Stirs surging waves upon the seas Rustling leaves upon the trees Upon a star-speckled moonlit night Shining high above and gleaming white On two solitary figures far in sight As they wandered along with clasped hands Treading barefoot on velvet sands Of these hidden sacred virgin lands
Time drew to a standstill As the two stood upon a lone hill Gazing upon the other till Both felt no greater love than this Or knew no deeper joy or bliss Of Love's first tender kiss
The waves sang them a song of love The heavens poured forth glory from above Two hearts as one doth move While the pair whirled and danced Together leapt and pranced Beneath moondust that enhanced
The salty smell of swirling seas and Starlit sands with Soft-scented Soul-searching Love.

How developed is your right brain?
Please read the text first before scrolling down to stare at the image! Your Task: Find the man between the coffee beans.
Doctors have concluded that if you find the man in 3 seconds that your right half of your brain is better developed than most people. If you find the man between 3 seconds and one minute, then your right half of the brain is developed normally. If you find the man between one minute and 3 minutes, then the right half of your brain is functioning slowly and you need to eat more protein.
If you have not found the man after 3 minutes the right half of your brain is a mess. I received this in an email from someone.
I don't know how true this is.... But the right brain is supposed to focus more on focus on aesthetics, feeling, and creativity. This is versus logical thinking, analysis, and accuracy for the left brain.

Woo. more fotos from me too. simply cos after my council interview there were class pple sitting in the canteen waiting for the rain to stop so we can go home =D so thats azrin with a beaming face. he looks like some character in sesame street. i think its ernie XP. and theres another azrin picture with i think benlow walking past behind. and theres alan using his apparently very very sucky fone. and theres the star! made from me charissa alan azrin benlow's fingers! hahaha we are soooo boliao -.- okays.
and the last picture! wait must tell u the story. i overheard melissa telling her sister to shut up like a few times (o.0) so i jokingly told melissa shes super rude to her sister, then melissa defended herself by saying, "thats cos michelle is whining that her chem hw is untidy..." i took a look at michelles hw -.- u can see it for urself hahaha super neat can! it looks super scarily like it was printed.
oh and a depressing fact, which i have mentioned before. is that 3h wont ever have aprils fools together in school! like 1st april for this year is on sat, so next year is on sunday. -.- so we cant do evil things at alllllll. haha unless u want to extend april fools till monday XP in which case, any evil ideas? hahah
okays.. anyone else took fotos? send to me, i'll upload if im free XP. study hard! nyahaha
